Botanical Information: It belongs to the Linden family. It is a tall tree that blooms with whitish-yellow, fragrant flowers between June and August. Although it is usually found naturally in forests, it is also grown in parks and gardens as an ornamental tree. Its leaves are stemmed, pointed, edges toothed, base parts are heart-shaped, upper face is green, lower face is whitish green and hairy. They grow drooping, at least three of them together. The flower cover is in the form of a boat, yellowish-green in color. Fruits are spherical and single seeded. The linden tree grows from the sprout. It lives a maximum of one year.
